GENERAL:
Silka is very calm and easy dog. She only have two levels. ON and OFF. When she is not running, you don't see much of her, she will get cozy in one of her favorite spots, on her doghouse, in her bed inside the house, or in summer time sunbathing in the garden.
Silka is very reserved. The best way to describe her is to compare her to a cat. She is very much her own, and doesn't always like random people touching her. She is not scared or shy at all. It's more like she gives you a look that says: "Ew! why are you trying to tough my clean fur with your weird human hands" To pet and cuddle Silka is always on her terms, but it does happen, but even for me it takes time. Mark on the other hans is something different, she loves her dad.
Silka is a strong girl, who know what she wants, very stubborn.
She is the easiest dog I have ever had, she lives a lot inside our house and I sometimes forget she is even here because she is so calm. She is almost like having a calm cat inside.
WORKING ABILITY:
Silka is our best female runner. She is light build and very fast, and will pull with great power. She works with 200% focus every time.
She will run until she collapse if you don't stop her.
She can run in every position. She is our best speed leader, and runs in lead with our command leader Robin. She can keep a very high tempo. She has a trick when we run uphill where she makes a little jump and motivates the whole team to pull harder to get up up the hill or mountain.
Silka next to Robin in lead is the perfect combination.
